Jamie Xayachack
Second Grade Assistant Teacher
Jamie Xayachack was born and raised in Redding, CA. She has a B.A. in liberal arts with a concentration in elementary education from CSU Chico. Being an educator in the Bay has made her a more passionate lifelong learner and she feels that teaching is most enjoyable when she is exploring new, challenging ideas and different perspectives among students and colleagues. Jamie has held several leadership positions – most notably with IDEA Public Schools and Girls Inc. of Alameda County. Currently, she is enrolled at CSU Fresno and has plans to receive her multiple subject teaching credential in spring 2024. Aside from teaching, she enjoys reading fictional stories and spending time exploring new places with her friends and family, as well her corgi, Wes Montgomery. Jamie is very proud of her Lao heritage and loves to share her language, family traditions, and cultural background. Following her first year at BPC as the first grade assistant teacher, Jamie is looking forward to being the second grade assistant teacher this year.
